BLACK NEW VENTURE COMPETITION

Now in its fifth year, the Black New Venture Competition (BNVC) is Harvard's largest venture competition, focused on Black pre-seed and seed stage entrepreneurs. Founders have the opportunity to pitch their ventures to a panel of esteemed judges for a chance to win more than $200K in non-dilutive capital. Past winners have gone on to raise more than $10 million in funding.

FAQs

  • All General Admission and HBS Student tickets include access to the conference and after-party. HBS Student Early Bird tickets will have the opportunity to attend a small group dinner the night before the conference. The HBS Alumni Mixer ticket is for alumni only. More details to come!

  • The conference will take place on the HBS campus in Klarman Hall. The conference after-party will take place off-campus (location to be disclosed at the conference) on Saturday night.

  • The mixer will take place on Friday, April 14 from 6p - 8p ET. As we continue to build this community, it's important that we take time to come together. The mixer will serve as an opportunity to meet other alum across various investing professions and kick off the start of the conference.
